John H. Abeles, M.D.

Dr. Abeles is currently President of Medvest, Inc., a consulting concern, and General Partner of Northlea Partners Ltd., a venture and general investment firm. Dr. Abeles serves as Director of Higuchi BioSciences Institute and as Director of the College of Chemistry Advisory Board, at the University of California-Berkeley. Dr. Abeles is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the American Association for the Advancement of Science as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in London. Dr Abeles has served on many boards and advisory boards of emerging medical companies. He is currently a director of several private and public companies, the latter including I-Flow, DUSA Pharmaceuticals, Oryx Technology and Molecular Diagnostics. From 1969 to 1975, Dr Abeles was a clinical research medical executive with Sterling Drug, Pfizer, Inc, and Revlon Healthcare before joining Kidder Peabody as a medical securities analyst, from 1975 to 1980. Dr. Abeles received both his pharmacology and medical degrees at the University of Birmingham, England in 1969.


James L. Foght, Ph.D.

Dr. Foght is currently Managing Director of Vector Securities International, LLC. He also serves as Managing Partner of Foght Enterprises, LLC. Dr. Foght was formerly Managing Director of Prudential Vector Healthcare (a division of Prudential Securities) as well as Co-founder and President of Vector Securities International, Inc. Dr. Foght is also a trustee of the University of Akron Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors for many companies including Acrux Limited (Melbourne, Australia), Ovation Pharmaceuticals, and ConjuGon, Inc. Dr. Foght received his BS from the University of Akron, and his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.


Arnold H. Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan retired from United Health Corporation were he served as Chief Financial Officer and was member of the Executive Council. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Kaplan is a member of the Financial Executives Institute and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Financial Executive Research Foundation, Inc. He also currently serves on the Board of the Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Kaplan received a BS, Commerce and Engineering, from Drexel University and an MSIA from Carnegie University.
