Administrative / Executive Assistant
Prescient Medical, Inc. is an interventional cardiology company founded to reduce deaths from heart attacks through the treatment and prevention of atherosclerotic plaque rupture believed to cause up to 85% of all events. In the US and Europe, heart attacks cause nearly 1.4 million deaths and are the major cause of death in Japan and other developed countries. Since our inception, we have developed technologies most suited to addressing this enormous unmet clinical need. Our unique and complementary products include an intravascular luminal shield, which we call our vProtect™ Luminal Shield, and a diagnostic catheter system capable of analyzing and quantifying the chemical composition of arterial plaques and assessing their vulnerability to rupture, which we call our vPredict™ Optical Catheter System. The position will report to the Administrative Manager and is located in Doylestown, PA, with the intent to consolidate facilities in the Princeton, NJ area.
Responsibilities
- Providing full administrative support to Sr. Management and professional staff
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Coordinating substantial domestic and international travel arrangements
- Meeting planning activities for both internal and external meetings & conventions
- Providing support for development of agendas, meeting, and presentation materials
- Proofreading and editing correspondence and materials for content and formatting
- Preparation of expense reports
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining an inventory of frequently used items
- Maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments & conference calls
- Reception duties including: greeting visitors and answering the main line
- Shipping and mail distribution
Requirements
- 5-7 years of administrative experience, with executive-related experience a plus
- Must have advanced computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel, and additional software skills a plus
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work independently, prioritize and problem-solve
- Experience with complex meeting coordination and travel arrangements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Supply Chain Director

The position will report to the CFO and is located in Doylestown, PA , with the intent to consolidate facilities in the Princeton , NJ area.
Responsibilities
- Contracting with, and managing relationships with raw material suppliers, OEM manufacturing partners, warehousing and distribution partners. Assist with searching for vPredict™ Optical Catheter System console service and leasing company.
- Working with Sales & Marketing to establish product forecasts by product code, and update on a regular basis.
- Participating in Design Reviews as part of the new product development process as Manufacturing Representative to provide useful input on the development of the design relative to DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly).
- Contributing to the development of strategic and tactical plans for the company.
- Projecting demand requirements for all raw materials and finished goods and adjusting as needed to ensure adequate supply, while minimizing costs of carrying inventory.
- Working with OEM manufacturers to produce required products to PMI quality standards and deliver required products to specified locations. Performing on-site supplier audits for all OEM partners.
- Prepare risk analyses for all process and supply related activities.
- Negotiating with suppliers for best terms on cost, delivery times, and service/support.
- Identifying product improvement and cost improvement opportunities, and implementing them through raw material suppliers, manufacturing, and warehousing and distribution partners.
- Instructing manufacturers to deliver the required products and quality.
- Insuring JIT stocking at warehouse and related transportation to final customers.
- Working with distributor network in optimizing plans for JIT deliveries and where needed to help them manage consignment.
- Overseeing Customer Service organization; managing documentation, invoicing and reporting of all customer related interactions.
- Managing customer complaint handling efforts, in conjunction with Regulatory Affairs, to ensure compliance to all governmental regulations.
Requirements
- A proven leader with solid educational credentials and at least 10 years of management experience that includes demonstrated knowledge of supply chain in a complex, multi-facility business, preferably in the medical device industry.
- An undergraduate degree is required and additional educational experience desirable.
- A strong background in all aspects of supply chain management across a broad base of US and European countries and customers. Successful candidate will have in-depth experience in material planning and procurement; inventory control and management; production planning; setting production requirements and managing execution; material movement; and service level negotiations.
- Must be results-oriented with a strong performance, cost management and bottom-line orientation.
- Comfortable operating in environments of uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Must have experience with ISO13485 implementation, operation and compliance.
