Our vProtect™ Luminal Shield is designed to treat soft, atherosclerotic lesions that may be at risk of rupture, or recently ruptured. Using a unique and proprietary platform, we plan to bring a series of products to market with a focus on plaque stabilization and intravascular healing. Today, current practices and available technologies for the treatment of coronary artery disease are solely focused on improving luminal diameter and the restoration of blood flow. We believe these devices are not well suited for the treatment of non-calcified or vulnerable plaques.

Our ultimate goal is to provide interventional cardiologists with treatment devices designed to address different plaque types. We believe that our products will finally enable cardiologists to more accurately treat patients at risk and, for the first time, treat the cause of heart attacks before they occur.
